Ski Butternut 2.0

By now, you’ve probably noticed that we recently redesigned our website,

The new homepage features updated graphics, an easy-to-read ski report summary, and better navigation to pages throughout the site.

The new site emphasizes images, videos, and social media. The photo-of-the-day section has been expanded with new galleries added. A new feature, Butternut TV, lets you watch dozens of mountain videos, sorted by topic of interest. Links to our Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages – as well as this blog – are prominently featured at the top of each page.

We’ve also added a new interactive trail map, and soon we’ll be adding the ability to pre-fill out rental forms, speeding up the process once you arrive at the mountain.

But the coolest new feature of our site that you may not have yet noticed: A brand new mobile homepage! Now, if you’re using a smartphone like an iPhone, or one that runs on the Android or Blackberry operating systems, you’ll automatically be directed to a special mobile-optimized website. The mobile site looks great on smaller screens, and loads quickly, but still features much of the content from the full site (including the interactive trail map, galleries, and videos), plus phone-only features, like one-click-to-call links.

Or if you’d like to see the site for yourself, point your smartphone to (it will automatically redirect you to our mobile site), or point your computer’s browser to
