“Vonn Adjusts to the A-List Life”

This is the headline from this morning’s New York Times, which declares that Lindsey Vonn has gone from being just an Olympian to a bonafide star, hanging out with actors like Julia Roberts and Alec Baldwin, posing for the covers of magazines, attending galas and award ceremonies, getting cheered in airports, picking up big mainstream endorsement contracts (not just ski companies), and even appearing on her favorite television show, Law and Order.

Vonn, for her part, has taken it all in stride, training even harder to meet high expectations, and laughing at the fact that she gets to hang out with ‘real celebrities’ whose autographs she wants just as much as fans want hers.

Also, I think the New York Times officially has a crush on Lindsey Vonn (and I’m ok with that): This is the third sports article they’ve run in a week that’s either totally or substantially about her.
